The idea seems to be to allow space for smaller groups to come to and explore sovereign null sec. B3 resides in the northeast of null sec and includes many of the former FI.RE members who fled the southeast, so perhaps their agreement to leave the area alone was implied already. Not represented as signatories were any of B3 coalition’s leadership. Noraus of Fraternity, leader of WinterCo.The agreement is slated to last for one year, at which point those party to the agreement can decide whether to extend it or not. In addition, no rental activity of any sort will be allowed within the designated region. The major blocs can still roam through the area for content, but they have agreed not to take sides in any conflict within the area and to not attack sovereignty or structures of those who take up residence in the area. The agreement states that Those regions are now open for unaffiliated alliances to use, meaning alliances that are not affiliated with any of the four major blocs (B3, Imperium, PanFam, Winterco).

The Imperium’s grab in Tenerifis from DOTLAN Southeastern Null Sec Declared Open to Non-Bloc Alliances This entry was posted in entertainment, EVE Online, Null Sec, YouTube and tagged Pandemic Horde, Pochven on Jby Wilhelm Arcturus. So another irreplaceable structure torn down in New Eden. I have not seen a picture of the loot ball however, though somebody did do a short video of the Fortizar’s demise. There were no doubt a lot more on the field to grab. Those are just the ships that were in the loot ball. Heavy Assault Cruiser losses beat out the ISK cost of the Fortizar, if not the strategic value of it.Īlso, a lot of shuttles were hanging out in hangars, but not as many corvettes as I would have imagined. The total defender side losses, broken out by hull types were: Type That was just the number of people who had something of theirs blown up and the count of the post fight destruction. So Pandemic Horde and its allies didn’t field over 1,400 people for the fight, of have more than 4,000 ships blown up in combat. Anything that people blow up gets reported as a loss for the person who owned it. This is because there is no asset safety in Pochven so all of the hangar contents are jettisoned into space in station containers. We were there back in January fighting over it. Once lost, you can never put it back.īy all reports, this Fortizar has been quite valuable to Pandemic Horde, to the point that the alliance was apparently paying people to run the Triglavian sites just to keep the income stream going.Īnd, the structure having value, they have defended it quite vigorously in the past. So structures in Pochven like this Fortizar are valuable pieces of real estate, well beyond the cost of a Fortizar. All of the Upwell structures in Pochven are a legacy, left over from the before time when these systems were part of empire space. It is unlike wormhole space in that new player owned structures are not allowed. It is like it in how you have to get in… you know, wormholes… and the fact that there is no CONCORD or what not, and that there is no asset safety if a player owned structure gets blown up. Pochven is both like and unlike wormhole space.

There is a whole guide out there about how to get into Pochven if you are interested. You have to get there either via filaments or through a regular set of wormholes. Those systems are no longer directly connected to New Eden via the standard jump gates. In short, the Imperium pulled out, Vily decided to shut down the TTC, the Imperium decided they want to blow up the only remaining high sec Keepstar, hilarity ensued, the Keepstar went pop, and then Vily decided to keep the TTC running to support manufacturing and have a market, but to keep the tax rate at 0%, which would not make for a huge money making venture.
